Papaye, one of Ghana’s biggest fast food company has organized a fun games between the media and staff of Papaye at the company’s recreational village which took place at Konkonuru in the Eastern Region on May 25, 2019.
The ceremony which was held at the Papaye Recreational Village sought to create awareness of the company and also build mutual relationship between the company and the media as whole.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer of Papaye Fast Food, Mr Divine Kwadwo Asiedu said the fun games aims at creating awareness of the Recreational Village.
Also, the event sought to bring forth ideas from the media personnel on how to improve upon the facilities of the recreational centre.
Mr. Asiedu added that, the Recreational Village will be serve as a venue for events as well as a place for relaxation.
Adding that, the Recreational Village will be fully ready in December this year, 2019.
At the ceremony, activities such as an aerobic session, football, sack race, table tennis, oware, ludu, lime and spoon race, tag of piece, volleyball, and scrabble among other games were participated by both Papaye Staff as well as media personnel.
However, the recreational centre, according to the CEO began 20 years ago and is expected to provide some 600 workers with employment.
Additionally, the centre is on a 130 acre land and will provide a hotel, zoo and a vast area of garden flowers when completed in the second phase.
Also, the centre will equally help boost Ghana’s economy in the tourism sector.
The fun games also saw the presence of the founder of Papaye Fast Food, Mr Samir Kalmoni and Chief and elders of Aburi to grace the occasion.
